Alejandro Hernández Ramírez
Founding partner of the Firm. Alejandro has more than 15 years of experience in the professional practice, mainly on litigation and consulting in the areas of Intellectual Property Law and New Technologies, Entertainment Law, Sports Law, Administrative Law, Health Regulatory Law and Constitutional Law.
He also represents domestic and foreign companies from different industrial sectors such as media, pharmaceuticals, fintech, cosmetics, publishing, textile, oil, games, sports and entertainment.
He has filed several Intellectual Property lawsuits related to trademarks, advertising slogans, trade names, industrial designs, copyrights, image rights of persons, and patents, including pharmaceutical industry; specifically, infringement, nullity and lapse actions.
He has participated in several actions against Mexican authorities related to government public procurement procedures.
He has filed arbitration proceedings before the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the World Intellectual Property Organization (“WIPO”), against the cybersquatting of web domains, for their recovery.
He has filed actions against national federations for the defense of athletes.
Collaboration in the registration and protection of all types of Intellectual Property rights, as well as the negotiation of technology transfer and technical assistance agreements, licenses, and franchises.
Participation in the drafting and negotiation of all types of agreements related to copyright, including the acquisition and licensing of broadcasting rights for sporting events with the International Federation of Association Football (“FIFA”), the Union of European Football Associations (“UEFA”), and the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (“CONCACAF”), among others.
He has advised companies for the transfer and implementation of new technologies in the mobility sector.
He has advised pharmaceutical companies for the import and distribution of medicines.
